The Avila Beach Community Center offers a variety of events and activities throughout the year for the community of Greater Avila Beach. Our events are a wonderful opportunity to get connected with people and projects in Avila Beach. 

Avila Beach Civic Association Monthly Meeting

When: The first Tuesday of each month.
From: 6:30pm-8:00pm
Where: Avila Beach Community Center
191 San Miguel Street
Join us for our organizational meeting as we discuss upcoming projects and topics related to the community center and the Avila Beach Community. This is a  great starting point to get more involved with what is happening around Avila Beach. The public is invited to attend.

Albacore Feed Fundraiser

When: Saturday October 9th
From: Two seating times at 5:00pm and 6:30pm
Where: Avila Beach Community Center 191 San Miguel Street
 Sharing the heritage of the Central Coast's longstanding fishing tradition, members of the Avila Beach Community Foundation and the Avila Beach Civic Association join together to host the town's annual Albacore Feed. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased in person at the Community Center or by calling (805) 627-1997. Tickets are $20 each for adults and $10 each for children 12 years of age and under. Guests may select from either the 5 p.m. or the 6:30 p.m. seating times. Take-out orders are also available with the pre-sale tickets. Beer ($3) and wine ($5) will also be available to purchase.The meal will include fresh albacore, bread, salad, beans, dessert and a drink.  The deadline to purchase tickets is Oct. 1. Funds raised at the dinner will be used by the Avila Beach Civic Association to support programs and activities for youth and adults at the Avila Beach Community Center, and by the Avila Beach Community Foundation to support various projects in Avila.

Easter Party

The Avila Beach Community Center invites you to join us for our annual Easter Party Saturday. Easter activities include the bounce house, egg dyeing, arts and crafts and our annual Easter egg hunt. Don't forget to bring a camera and get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny! Refreshments will be provided. This event is free and open to the public. Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser

Join us for a new fourth of July weekend tradition with a morning a breakfast of pancakes, sausage, bacon and beverages to raise money for the operation of the Avila Beach Community Center.
